About

Dr. Beatriz Martin Monzon

Who is Beatriz?

I am a down-to-Earth person, a lover of nature and time outdoors.

I enjoy supporting people who are experiencing changes in life, who need support in particular transitions, and who want to develop further awareness about themselves.

I have lived in several countries and explored different cultures. I was born in Spain and Australia has been my home for more than 10 years.

I am fluent in Spanish and English :)

What about your expertise?

I have worked in mental health for the last 20 years.
Prior to having my own psychology practice, I worked in private and public settings. I have a background in research and teaching at Western Sydney University.

I provide centered and personalised treatment to each person that I support. Together, we discover the aspects of your life that are not working anymore and find solutions to recover wellness and balance. I provide a safe and confidential space where you can be yourself without feeling judged.

I use a broad range of techniques: Cognitive Behavioural Techniques, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and Breathing techniques, Emotion Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Play and Art Therapy, among others.
